If you have not signed up to come to the bread making demonstration on Monday, November 12, and wish to come, please let us know this week! Rick Stone of Beaufort Bread Company will be out with his portable wood-fired oven teaching us the intracacies of making and baking bread. This will be a delicious event, not to be missed. Free for members, $10 for non-members! You will not leave empty handed!
Calamondin, Collards and Cranberry Pies!
Lots of C's (and no GMO's) this week at SILO. Naturescapes' calamondin, a customer favorite, is just coming back in. Brant Family Farms has their first crop of collard greens, and SweetCakes has two pies with cranberries in them. Sounds like a delicious fall week at SILO.
Thanksgiving Week at SILO
Now that November is here, we know many of you are already planning your holiday meals. Be sure to incorporate as many fresh, local items from SILO as possible to ensure a delicious, healthy holiday season. Similar to last year, we'll be having a special Thanksgiving market open online from Friday, November 16-Sunday, November 18. THe pick-up day will be Tuesday, November 20. There will be NO pick-up that Friday after Thanksgiving.
We will have more details on this as the date gets closer, but wanted to give you some advanced notice.

Remember to place your order by 6PM on Wednesday and then pick your order up between 4pm and 7pm on Friday
at the SILO Shopfront. If you would like a Wednesday Reminder email, send us an email
with "Wednesday Reminder" in the subject line. SILO accepts credit card, check or cash for payment at time of pick up. Don’t forget to return your SILO bag!
If you don't, and wish to have your items packed in an insulated bag, there will be a $3.50 charge. If for some reason, you think your order wasn’t processed, be sure to log into your account, click on “Your Account” and check the “Open Orders” page to see if the order shows up.
In Store Hours:
Friday: 1:00pm-7:00pm - if you need something that we have in stock during the week, please email us and we'll try to accommodate you! We are also usually around the shop Thursdays from 10:30-12:30.
