SILO was created with the help of two local growers and producers - a vegetable farmer and a beef farmer. They helped craft the SILO model to make selling their products as predictable and efficient as possible. You post only what you have available and receive a packing list when each market closes, telling you exactly what you need to pick, produce and deliver. No wasted products or time.

How much does it cost?

Signing up for an account and posting products is free. You set the price and SILO has a seller fee of 20% of your total sales.

Retail vs. Wholesale.

We have multiple market days and drop off locations throughout Lowcountry. Some of these are open to chefs who are committed to using local food. As a seller, you have the option to list wholesale items. These are typically larger quantities for a reduced price, and are only visible to our wholesale buyers.

Since we have pick-ups in two states - South Carolina and Georgia - there may be additional regulations required for selling across state lines. We can discuss this with you when you create an account.
